The reorganization meeting of the Board of Trustees for School Districts 55 & 55H was called to order at 8:02 PM, on Monday, May 10, 2021 by Chairperson Vandeberg. Tom Vandeberg and Brenda Serrano were sworn in by Darcie Hetrick, County Superintendent of Schools.
Chairperson Vandeberg explained points of procedure and then called for nominations from the floor for the position of Chairperson.
Chairperson Nominations
Trustees Brewer and Bedford nominated Tom Vandeberg as Chairperson. Nomination carried by a unanimous vote.
Vice-Chairperson Nominations
Trustees Bedford and Snook nominated Chris Brewer as Vice-Chairperson. Nomination carried by a unanimous vote.
It was recommended that Carmen Eiselein be offered a contract as Business Manager and appointed as District Clerk for the 2021-2022 school year with salary pending.
Recommendation motioned by Snook, seconded by Bedford. Motion carried by a unanimous vote.
It was recommended that Carolyn Bilden be offered a contract as Assistant District Clerk/Administrative Secretary for the 2021-2022 school year with salary pending.
Recommendation motioned by Snook , seconded by Brewer. Motion carried by a unanimous vote.
Upon motion by Snook, seconded by Bedford, it was ordered that the meeting be adjourned at 8:08 PM. Motion carried by a unanimous vote.
