Sheriff’s Office Report for 5/23 through 6/10

There were seventy 911 calls during this time frame.

35 of those calls were unwarranted, hang ups, or not really emergencies.

15 were calls for the ambulance

11 were calls for the police

2 were calls for the fire dept.

7 calls were transferred to other counties.

The breakdown of the calls are as follows:

*There was a call for a cow on the highway, dispatch notified the owner.

*2 pocket dial (accidentally dialed 911)

*There was a medical call for a man that had fallen and was unable to get up.

*Pocket dial.

*Medical was sent to the Homes on the Range for a female that had fallen down the stairs.

*Medical was sent to help a female that was having a seizure.

*A female called in a noise complaint.

*There was a call for a calf on the highway, the owner was notified.


*Medical was called for a male that was possibly having a stroke.

*The deputies were sent to a home for a domestic violence situation.

*4 pocket dials

*A call was transferred to Wheatland County, regarding a 4 wheeler accident.

*Pocket dial

*Medical was sent to assist a female that had passed out.

*Medical and deputies were sent to a possible suicide call.

*Police were sent to a domestic disturbance.

*Police were sent to a domestic disturbance.

*Police were sent to clear a dead deer off the road.

*Medical was sent to Homes on the Range for a female that had fallen.

*Medical was sent to a female that was having complications from Covid.

*Medical was sent to a male that was having severe kidney pain.

*2 pocket dials

*Medical was sent to assist a female that had fallen.

*A child was playing on the phone and accidentally dialed 911. (On a side note, if you give your child an old cell phone that doesn’t have service to it anymore please take the battery out of it. Even if there is no service on the phone anymore, it can and will still dial 911.)

*Deputies were sent to a residence for a theft.

*A call came in regarding dogs running loose I town.

*A call was transferred to Yellowstone County.

*A call came in for a male wanting the phone number for a tow truck, he was referred to call back on the non-emergency line.

*Pocket dial

*Medical was called for a female that was unable to stand up.

*Call was transferred to Yellowstone County for a possible suicidal female.

*Call was transferred to Wheatland County for a car that had stalled in the drive lane of the highway.

*Pocket dial

*Fire was dispatched to a small grass fire.

*Pocket dial

*Medical was sent to a male that was possibly having a stroke.

*A child was playing on the phone and accidentally dialed 911.

*Deputies were sent to Roundup Memorial Hospital, one of the patients had dialed 911, thankfully everything was found to be ok.

*3 hang up calls

*Fire and medical were sent to a residence that had the smoke alarm going off. The female resident had fallen and needed help to get up.

*The deputy was advised of a RADD (reckless and dangerous driver) report

*Officers were sent to a residence for a domestic situation.

*Call transferred to Wheatland county for sheep on the road.

*Deputy was advised of a RADD report.

*Call was transferred to Fergus County, the hospital in Lewistown was needing assistance.

*Hang up

*Deputy advised of a RADD report.

*Cow on the road, the owner was notified.

*Lewistown hospital called, the call was transferred to Fergus county.

*Medical was sent to assist a male suffering from extreme exhaustion.

*Medical was sent to help a female that had fallen.

*Call transferred to Yellowstone County for a fire in Shepherd.

*Female called to report losing the case of meds for her dog.

Deputies advised of a RADD report.

Hang up.

Deputies were sent to a residence where a 911 call was generated, they found everything to be ok.

During this time frame, the deputies also made 34 traffic stops. There were 27 warnings given and 14 citations.
