Memorial Weekend Pig-nic May 30 & 31

The Dan McCaffree Family and Friends of Musselshell School, Inc. (FoMS) will be hosting the 17th Annual Memorial Weekend "Pig-nic" at Musselshell School on Sunday and Monday, May 30 and 31. This event offers the community and traveling guests a perfect place to gather for a noon meal being served both days. All donations go to maintain and operate Musselshell School as a community center.

The McCaffree family supplies the barbecued roast pork, potato casserole, and beans, and FoMS supplies the facility, plates, and silverware. Local women organize homemade buns, salads, and dessert to ensure provisions for all who attend. Bringing food is not required for guests but some bring a favorite dish. To assist with food planning, please call Nan at 947-2761 if you plan to bring a salad or dessert.

Serving will be conducted using updated COVID guidelines. Take-out meals are available by calling 406-947-2351.

The kitchen staff will prepare a meal and servers will be at the front door at the designated time.

While attending the "Pig-nic" festivities guests can purchase raffle tickets! There are two ongoing raffles at Musselshell School. One is for a beautiful red and blue patriotic plasma cutout eagle created by Vern & Bev Debuff @ DeBuff Trading. The impressive eagle measures 23 ½" wide and 18"tall. The other raffle is for a dazzling "Red, White, and Blue" quilt made by Cindy (McCaffree) Berg. Measuring 89" X 89", the cut pieces of the design along with the fabric colors create a kaleidoscope look for this quilt. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 tickets for $5.00. Once you see these items you will definitely want to get your name in the drawing!

The McCaffree families donate their time and talents for this event in memory of the late Rae McCaffree.

FoMS look forward to seeing you all there!
