The first Thursday in May has been a day recognized by a joint session of congress of the United States to be declared as a National Day of Prayer. And I recall on one particular year I happened to be at our nation’s capital in Washington D.C. on the day of this event. I remember how blessed and inspired I was by simply hearing the Holy Scripture being read on the lawn in front of the captial building. These gatherings and events are mobilized in a variety of ways.
