Facebook poll

The poll from March 22 on Facebook asked Roundup if they were in favor of a skate park or prefer money be used for some other kind of public space. 79 people checked that they would like a multi-use area that includes a skate park, 19 people checked that they were in favor of a skate park, and 6 people voted that they would like to see a different venue for the public.

The idea seems to be widely popular and in fact, after posting the poll, I found out that permission from the city and land is already available for the skate park. I took the poll down the same day and stop collecting data as it seemed that since approval was already out there the question was mute.

Troy Evans informed me that the fundraising campaign needs to be headed up and there is already matching funds for any grants. The planners are looking for someone to spearhead the fundraising campaign. If you are interested in this, or would like to help or donate to this project, contact Troy Evans.

This weeks Facebook poll can be found on the following Facebook Pages; Roundup Online Swap and Sell, Roundup Happenings, The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, and Roundup/Musselshell County Political. The polls will be published in upcoming issues of the Roundup Record and Tribune.
