The time has come to celebrate! Country star Joe Nichols is coming to Roundup to headline RIDE 2021 on July 3rd at the Roundup Outdoor Stage. COVID caused RIDE to reschedule, but as promised Nichols and Hotel California are on for this year, and we have added American Idol’s Lauren Mascitti!

RIDE is taking precautions to ensure that all events on July 2-4th will be as safe as possible. RIDE worked with Roundup Memorial Hospital and Central Montana Health District to develop guidelines for a safe event.

RIDE will open up on Friday July 2nd with the world’s biggest and best Eagles Tribute Group “Hotel California”. The show starts at 7pm with a “Salute to our Medical and First Responder Heroes”. Jason Larson will open with his one-of-a-kind rock and roll set.

George Dickenson with “Hotel California” tells Mike Morgan that Roundup, Montana has been a long-awaited venue that the group has had highlighted on their calendar. “We’ve not gotten to play on the Outdoor Stage and were so looking forward to being there last year, but then Covid hit. We were in Florida when everything shut down, and our bus is still there.” George tells Morgan that Roundup will be one of the first shows of 2021 for the band, so,” tell the folks to be ready to rock. It’ll be a blow out show for sure.”

The July 3rd show promises to be one that Roundup will never forget. RIDE will be honoring the military heroes that protect us and give us the opportunity to have the freedom to put on events like RIDE. Special guests for the evening will be Lt. Gen. Butch Funk, and Gen. Paul Funk Jr. Also appearing will be The Golden Knight’s Air Jump Team. Joe Nichols will headline the show and will be singing his 6 #1 hits along with many more for a great evening of country music. Nashville’s Lauren Mascitti, an American Idol Contestant will also be performing. She is on her way to stardom, and will be making her first appearance in Montana. The show starts at 7pm with fireworks at the end of the evening performances.

There is much more to see at RIDE. The Roundup Sportsmen’s Association will have their Top Shot Competition on Friday the 2nd at the Roundup Sportsmen’s Club. Kids Kountry will take place on the 3rd. Cowboy Church with Dave Bergeson will be at Ridge Riders on the 4th of July followed by the ever-popular Buttons and Bows Rodeo.

Your wristband will get you into all RIDE events. If you purchased bands last year, they will be honored this year. If you don’t have a band yet, RIDE will kick off band sells at the Roundup Trade Show at the Roundup High School on April 17th.

This summer is fast approaching. We’re going to have a ball, we’re going to be safe, and we’re going to show Montana that Roundup is the place to be to celebrate our Independence. See you there!
