Every year on the 3rd and 4th of July, one of Roundups main attractions is the Rodeo. This past year, the Roundup Rodeo was one of the best attractions around. It was so good that this year that Roundup Rodeo was chosen by WPRA (Women's Professional Rodeo Association) for the "Justin Boots Best Footing" award, meaning the rodeo has the safest, most consistent ground conditions, (great dirt). Along with the award plaque, there was included a certificate for a pair of Justin boots, and eight hundred dollars in prize money.
