Friends of Musselshell School, Inc. Annual Meeting

February 10, 2021

Friends of Musselshell School, Inc. is a non-profit organization that was formed in June of 2003 for the sole purpose of taking ownership of the Musselshell School and operating the structure as a community center.

The annual meeting of the corporation has been set for Tuesday, February 16 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Musselshell School.

The meeting will review general business, FoMS 2020 financial statement, ongoing and potential projects, scheduled and possible fund-raising for 2021, and fill board members positions.

Membership of the corporation is not required to participate in the activities of the school, but membership is required to hold a position on the board and to vote for board members positions at the annual meeting. If your membership has not been paid for 2021 we encourage you to do so as soon as possible, the cost of a single person membership is $5.00 per year, or a single person life membership is $100.00. Membership dues can be mailed to FoMS, PO Box 14, Musselshell, MT 59059. The treasurer will also accept dues prior to the meeting.

Three positions on the board are open for replacement. Anyone seeking to work with the board of directors and the vast number of caring persons involved with the school are encouraged to run for a position. The only requirements to hold a position on the board is to have a genuine love of the building and the community it serves; and to be a member in good standing of the corporation. Regular meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month. Anyone wishing to run for a position should call Adair Rademacher at 947-5141. Nominations from the floor will also be taken at the annual meeting.

The tremendous support and hard work that has sustained the Musselshell School for 18 years is admirable. FoMS Board of Directors cordially invites you to join the effort by attending their annual meeting.

Coffee and cookies will be served following the meeting.
