Calls are being received at local Area Agencies on Aging reporting that a credit card arrived in the mail from “Money Network Financial” saying that they represent the US Treasury and to call to activate the card. These are legitimate cards.

Some 8 million Americans are receiving their stimulus payments on a pre-paid debit card sent through the mail, in addition to others who will receive the payment via paper checks or automatic deposits. Just because you received your last payment one way does not mean you will receive it the same way now.
