Leadership 23

Leadership 23 is a local leadership development program for residents in Musselshell County. Participants will develop leadership skills, learn about their community, and network with other community members.

Space is limited, so you will not want to wait to apply. Participants will meet six times between February and May 2021 to participate in fun, interactive sessions designed to improve their personal skills and understand more about how people work together to address the complex issues we are facing. The cost to attend the program is $125.00 tuition for each participant. Contact the Extension Office to complete an application. COVID guidelines will be in place and practiced.

Program dates will include February 8th, March 1st, March 22nd, April 12th, April 26th, and May 10th. Between June and August, participants will complete a group project and attend a graduation celebration in August.

Program goals for L23 are to prepare local leaders and equip them with the skills, knowledge, and vision to become involved citizens that:

- Cultivate relationships and foster collaborations with leaders

- Embrace opportunities to actively participate

- Promote positive impacts

- Foster and facilitate positive cultural change.

Leadership 23 participants will develop leadership skills to:

- Understand more about themselves and appreciate the differences in others

- Learn the skills to feel confident serving on a board or committee

- Facilitate, mediate, and effectively engage in community-based conversation contribute to the enhancement of and help Musselshell County thrive.
