2020 Nelson Kemmer Memorial Scholarship Awarded


The recipient of the Nelson Kemmer Memorial Scholarship from the Roundup High School graduating class of 2020 is Chloe Jayne Cota. Chloe excelled at RHS and graduated as Valedictorian of her class. The Nelson Kemmer Memorial Scholarship committee kinows she will do the same while pursuing her bachelor degree in nursing at Miles Community College.

This scholarship was established in 2014 to honor Nelsons memory and help facilitate the higher education of deserving Roundup High School graduates in need. Five thousand five hundred dollars ($5,500.00) has been awarded to date, which includes this years $500.00 award.

The Nelson Kemmer Memorial Scholarship will continue to be awarded annually and is made possible by Nelson’s friends and family who so loved him. Thank you to each and everyone who has contributed. Nelson will always be remembered, loved and missed.

Congratualtions to Chloe - you will be an excellent nurse and a great asset to any hospital or facility. You will make a positive impact on the world!
