Rarely would one consider the business of furnace cleaning, till you need it done. Accord's Clean Heat, owned and operated by Dan and Olivia Accord, supplies a need for your home that may not often come to mind.
A third-generation business, Clean Heat started in 1965 with KC Accord's father. Dan and KC Accord, purchased the business from KC's father in the 1980's. Growing up working with his parents, Daniel learned the business. Daniel, his wife Olivia, and their two daughters, assumed the business, and have been running it on their own for the past year.
Furnace cleaning is a necessary business, Roundup is fortunate to have this service here locally. They also service the surrounding areas. When asked if the Covid-19 has affected the business, Daniel replied that they haven't seen much of a change yet, they also do not have to deal with many people to clean a furnace. The future effects of the shut-down could take a toll as many may face financial losses. However, there is the possibility that more people will be even more interested in having their furnace clean during these times of spreading virus.
Accord's Clean Heat has helped the old Musselshell school restoration in the town of Musselshell by doing the old school's furnace free if ten homes in the town of Musselshell commit to having their furnace cleaned. KC started this program with the town of Musselshell community, and Daniel and Olivia intend to continue with that donation. Daniel and Olivia also support the local volleyball team providing jerseys that, unfortunately, due to the Covid shutdown, the team was not able to use. These were provided by Accord's Clean Heat, and KC's Custom Care.
Olivia moved to Roundup in 1995 with her family and met Daniel who grew up here. Daniel and Olivia both work other jobs as well as operating Accord's Clean Heat, keeping the family business going, and showing a younger generation what hard work looks like.
