Phillip B. Wendling was born January 17, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN to Edward and Evelyn Wending. He married (later divorced) Carol Beamish and raised four daughters. He was a licensed Master Plumber and served as a Journeyman for the Plumbers and Pipefitters UA Local 34 in St. Paul, MN for over 30 years. Phil was a bull and bronc rider who finally made his way to Montana in 1995. Phil was known for his strength, generosity, love for animals, and quick wit.
