The Musselshell-Golden Valley Extension office now has seed potatoes. The seed is sourced from Holbrook Seed Potatoes located in Twin Bridges, Montana. The importance of using certified seed potatoes is to prevent the spread of devastating potato diseases commonly found from using poor quality seed. The varieties available through the office include Huckleberry Gold, Yukon Gem, German Butterball, Classic Russet, and Norland Dark Red for $1 per pound.
