Wesley Jessen of Green River, Wyoming and Macayla Birdwell of Roundup, Montana were married Saturday, August 17th, ten o'clock in the morning at Riverfront Park in Billings, MT. Reverend Dr. Erin Reser of Billings, Montana, officiated the intimate elopement. The couple met through friends at Rocky Mountain College. Macayla Jessen graduated from RMC in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Wesley Jessen is graduating in December of 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. The groom is the son of Curtis Jessen of Green River, Wyoming and Melanie Jessen of Billings, Montana. The bride is the daughter of the late Patrick and Janie Birdwell of Roundup, Montana. She is also the daughter of Janice Birdwell of Vancouver, Washington. Before Patrick Birdwell passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2019, he was able to walk his daughter down the aisle and give his blessing to both her and her husband. The couple plans to honeymoon at Chico Montana and will reside in Billings, Montana.
