Musselshell County has thousands of road signs throughout the county. Three fourths of them have been shot, run over, stolen or vandalized in some manner.

The signs vary in price, but on average cost about $50 and could last up to 10 years depending on weather conditions. We spend more of your tax dollars replacing vandalized road county signs rather than replacing them due to lifespan.

It is illegal to damage public property. We are disheartened that we have to spend tax dollars on replacing vandalized signs that are for your protection and direction.
